What’s new in WP Lead Player

WP Lead Player is actively maintained. Your yearly licence pays for updates, security hardening, new features and upkeep, and updates arrive in Dashboard › Updates like any other plugin.

Where to see what’s changed

When an update is available, click View version details next to WP Lead Player in Dashboard › Updates to see the notes for that release.

Recent improvements

  • Autoplay on YouTube and Vimeo (v0.9.30). Autoplaying videos now start muted on all three sources, so autoplay works on YouTube and Vimeo as well as uploaded files. See Why my video doesn’t autoplay.
  • Stream links with a # in the address (v0.9.30). An .m3u8 stream address containing a # fragment is now recognised.
  • Your own Facebook Application ID (v0.9.27). Social Lock’s Facebook button uses the Facebook Application ID you enter in WP Lead Player › Settings, so shares are credited to your own app.
  • Fuller leads export (v0.9.26). The CSV export now has 17 columns, including the capture date, watched percentage, split-test version and all campaign details. See Viewing and exporting your leads.

WP Lead Player and the original plugin

WP Lead Player is a ground-up rebuild with modern code, and a separate plugin from the original PHP 5/6-era product. If you bought the original, see Refunds and the free licence for original buyers.
