Choosing where sticky videos dock

When a video has its Sticky player switched on, it shrinks into a corner as the viewer scrolls past. The corner is set once for the whole site, so two videos on one page can’t dock to opposite corners.

Switch the sticky player on for a video

  1. Open the video and go to the Video Settings tab.
  2. Under Sticky player, choose Yes — follow the viewer down the page.
  3. Save the video.

Choose the docking corner

  1. Go to WP Lead Player › Settings.
  2. Under When a video docks, pick the Corner: Bottom right (the default), Bottom left, Top right or Top left.
  3. Tick On phones too (docks full width along the bottom) if you want it to dock on phones as well.
  4. Click SAVE.

Good to know

  • A paused video never follows the viewer.
  • If a viewer closes the docked player, it stays closed.
  • Overlays timed partway through still show while the video is docked.

Still stuck? Open a ticket on the support page on ABC and a real person will help.
