WP Lead Player can add each lead to a Mailchimp audience. You can also send leads to Mailchimp through the webhook and Zapier, Make or n8n (see Sending leads to a webhook), which gives you full control over the data – see How integrations work and what gets sent.
Find your details in Mailchimp
- API key – in Mailchimp, go to Account › Extras › API keys. It ends in something like -us21.
- Audience ID – in Mailchimp, go to your audience’s Audience settings.
Keep your API key private.
Set it up
- Go to WP Lead Player › Integrations.
- Under Mailchimp, tick Add every lead to Mailchimp.
- Paste your API key and Audience ID.
- Click Save Changes.
- Click Send a test lead to Mailchimp and check the contact appears in your audience.
Good to know
Contacts are added as subscribed straight away. Mailchimp’s double opt-in isn’t used, so no Mailchimp confirmation email is sent.
